Go de Godello, Soto del Vicario, Godello, DO Bierzo
In Bierzo, on the doorstep of Galicia, Soto del Vicario ferments its Godello in French oak barrels on its lees, with bâtonnage: an unusual side of this grape.
In short: Go de Godello ⎮ 100% Godello ⎮ Soto del Vicario ⎮ DO Bierzo, Castilla y León.
Straw-yellow with green glints. An intense nose of tropical fruit, white flowers and balsamic notes. Creamy and fresh on the palate, medium-bodied, with a hint of bitterness and smoky notes, passion fruit, toasted nuts and pastry from the barrel. Long, velvety finish. Serve at 11–12 °C.
A LA DULA selection, perfect with fine fish, poultry, aged cheeses and jamón ibérico.
