Camino, Terra Remota Gg, Garnatxa Negra, 2020

Terra Remota is an emblematic estate in the Alt Empordà, in Cantallops, on the edge of Catalonia and the French border. On granite soils swept by the tramontane wind, this domaine practices organic viticulture, working its vines by hand in full respect of the terroir.

GG is the purest expression of Terra Remota's Garnatxa Negra: a 100% Garnacha Negra wine, selected from the finest plots and vinified in concrete eggs to preserve the freshness and natural energy of the grape. The colour is a luminous garnet with violet highlights. The nose is fresh and intense — raspberry, blackcurrant, cherry — with remarkable delicacy and finesse. On the palate, the attack is frank and crisp, very fruity and energetic, with a long, fresh and mineral finish characteristic of the Empordà's granite soils.

A limited edition, perfect served between 12 and 14 °C, pairing magnificently with a slice of jamón ibérico de bellota or a charcuterie board.
