From the high plateaus of Almansa, where Garnacha Tintorera thrives under an extreme continental climate, this wine from Dominio de Casalta is a bold and singular expression of a little-known terroir.

In brief: Pepe Rodríguez de la Vera ⎮ 100% Garnacha Tintorera ⎮ Dominio de Casalta ⎮ DO Almansa (Castile-La Mancha).

Aged in French oak, it displays a deep, almost black colour, with an intense nose of blackberry, blackcurrant, violet and spices. The palate is powerful, generous and fleshy, with well-structured tannins and a long, full finish.
