Viña del Olivo is the jewel of the Contino estate: a unique Tempranillo plot surrounding an ancient olive tree, yielding one of La Rioja's most exclusive and expressive wines.

In brief: Contino Viña del Olivo ⎮ 100% Tempranillo ⎮ Viñedos del Contino (CVNE) ⎮ DOCa Rioja (Rioja Alavesa).

Aged in new French oak barrels, this single-vineyard wine offers a nose of intense black cherry, cedar, chocolate and violet. The palate is concentrated and persistent, with refined tannins and a very long mineral finish.
