Laurona Mitico, DO MONTSANT, 2012

Mítico has earned its name: a blend from the oldest vines on the Laurona estate, shaped by time and the rugged terroir of Montsant.

In brief: Laurona Mítico ⎮ Garnacha, Cariñena ⎮ Celler Laurona ⎮ DO Montsant (Falset, Tarragona).

Aged in oak barrels, it presents a deep garnet colour, a complex nose of dark fruits, garrigue, liquorice and spiced notes. The palate is concentrated and silky, with melted tannins and a very long, mineral finish on slate.
