How should I store my ham?

When your order arrives, it will be vacuum-sealed and safe for immediate consumption. But if you'd like to keep it for a few days before enjoying it, it's recommended to store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 to 3 months. Most importantly, keep it away from light and in a cool, dry place.


How should I prepare the ham before eating it?

The best way to enjoy your ham before eating it is to let it sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. Unwrap it and carefully separate the slices, keeping their original shape, on a plate. Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving, and enjoy with freshly toasted bread.


Pro tip – grate a clove of garlic and a fresh tomato over toasted bread. Add a drizzle of Spanish extra virgin olive oil before placing your ham slices on the toast. Enjoy with a nice glass of wine of your choice!


Which one is better? Jamón (ham) or Paleta (shoulder)?

There is no right answer! It really depends on your taste profile. In general, the shoulder is denser and has less meat, so it has a stronger flavor that lingers at the back of your palate. On the other hand, the Jamón (ham) has more meat, which is visible in the cut. Jamón tends to be more delicate, with sublime notes that are felt at the finish.
